Meet Amelia Lo,
Family Nurse Practitioner

Amelia believes in treating patients with a wide range of healing techniques (alternative and conventional) and acts as a guide for patients to navigate between the natural and pharmaceutical worlds of healing. As a provider, she views her relationships with her patients as a collaboration and works on empowering patients to make healthy changes in their lives.

In 2004, Amelia graduated with a Bachelor’s of Nursing degree from the University of Pennsylvania. After practicing as a floor nurse for 4 years, she attended Columbia University to earn her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner with a sub-specialty in Herbs, Nutraceuticals, and Supplements.

Shortly after graduating with her Master’s degree in 2010, she attended an Integrative Medicine rotation at the University of Arizona under the direction of Dr. Andrew Weil. She has been practicing functional medicine since 2016 which is an effective natural healing technique to treat chronic diseases. After rigorous examination in 2021, she was fully certified as a Functional Medicine Practitioner by the Institute of Functional Medicine. Additionally, she started incorporating the Walsh protocol to her practice in 2018 to help treat mental health disorders. Amelia is open to new ways and ideas to help treat and heal patients to their fullest potential.

During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her beloved husband and son, traveling internationally, exploring different types of foods and cultures, connecting with nature, throwing pottery, dancing, practicing yoga/meditation, and playing the piano.
